We first met in our freshman year of high school, way back in 2012, in Spanish class. We were friends through all four years of high school. To both of our surprise, we ended up living in the same dorm freshman year at the University of La Crosse, WI. We were joined at the hip all through college and would regularly eat lunch together in the dining hall. From Tater Tuesday to getting subs at Mondo's, we were always hanging out. We began dating in April of 2018 and it was love at first kiss. We both graduated from UW-La Crosse and from there, moved into a duplex in Holmen. We decided we needed to upgrade to more space and decided to move back to La Crosse. We now share a quaint house with our cat, Eva. Mitchell planned a wonderful and thoughtful proposal that included a hand-packed sunset picnic overlooking the bluffs. He proposed to me on May 11th, 2023 in the Hixon Forest in La Crosse and I, of course, said yes! September 14th can't come soon enough.
