Local Airports

The first event will be Friday night at 6pm. We have three airports within one hour or less driving distance from the wedding events. They are Dulles International Airport (IAD), Ronald Reagan Washington Airport (DCA) and Baltimore International Airport (BWI). IAD is 15-20 minutes from the wedding events, DCA is 30-40 minutes and BWI is just over 1 hour away.

Location Options for Hotels: 1. Dulles, VA – area around Dulles International Airport (IAD) – Furthest from Washington DC – Direct metro train line to DC (Silver line) – 20 to 25 minute drive in traffic to the wedding events 2. Arlington, VA – next to Reagan Washington Airport (DCA) – just outside of Washington DC – Walkable city with public transport to DC – 50 to 60 minute drive in traffic to the wedding events 3. Tysons, VA – Shopping hub a bit farther from DC than Arlington, VA – Has metro from Dulles Airport and to Washington DC metro – Not walkable but many hotels offer free shuttles to metro stations – 30 to 40 minute drive in traffic to the wedding events 4. Washington DC – MARC train from Baltimore International Airport (BWI) – Public transport to and from DCA and IAD airports – Stay in the NW areas such as Downtown, Logan Circle, Dupont Circle – NW areas are 45 to 75 minute drive depending on traffic to the wedding events

The wedding events are outside of Washington DC in the suburbs of Northern Virginia. Unfortunately there are no public transport options to the wedding events so transport by car is necessary. You may rent a car at the airport or take Uber/Lyfts to and from the wedding events. The closer you are to the wedding events, the cheaper the rides will be. Parking is free at the wedding events and paid in Washington DC.
