OTR (Over the Rhine) is a historic neighborhood filled with cute shops, parks, murals and restaurants. We highly recommend strolling (some of our favorite places in OTR are Washington Park, Salazars, Abigail St, Brown Bear Bakery, The Eagle and Japps).
We have a gorgeous riverfront that will be in full bloom in September!
The Cincinnati Art Museum is free (except for special exhibits) and we love to spend a Saturday strolling and reading in their courtyard (we also got engaged there!)
There are tons of great places to hike in Cincinnati, one of our favorites is Mt Airy, which has enough trails to fill a day or an hour.
Every Labor Day Lunken Airport hosts an open house featuring iconic historic military vehicles, exhibits, food and more. There is also a short biking/walking loop around the airport that connects to the longer Loveland trail.
Cincinnati is known for its breweries. Rhinegeist is a great brewery where you can bring your own food (we recommend stopping in the Findlay market area on the way), have a beer (or a couple) and play shuffle board or cornhole.
