If you're not driving here, we suggest flying into any of the airports below and renting a car. There is no public transportation system or ubers so a car will be necessary if you plan on exploring the area. If renting a car isn't an option for you, Traverse City and Pellston also can provide taxis and luxury private cars if you book in advance. See additional information below.
