We’re getting married!

We met in La Presa Elementary School in the 3rd grade. We never had the same class but we always met at the school playground. We instantly became friends and had crushes for each other. We shared each others first kiss as children. Jasmine moved to Texas for 5th grade. We found each other again early High school through mutual friends on social media. Our friendship and interest in each other sparked again as if we never stopped talking. Once we graduated high school Jasmine moved back to California for college and we officially started dating. Our strong relationship has blossomed throughout these 8 years of dating and we are blessed to say we have had a life long friendship!

Jacob planned a date to the Coronado Hotel ice skating rink. We spent our day ice skating as best as we could without falling! Once sunset was starting we walked down to the beach where he went down on one knee to propose. I said YES of course, only to see all of our family gathered behind me celebrating. Jacob had our families secretly be a part of our date and proposal as a surprise to me! We ended our night with a celebratory dinner with our families. Couldn’t have asked for a better proposal!
