Tiffany & Zac's Wedding

FAQs

Question

Can I bring my children to the wedding?

Answer

While we love and cherish all the little ones in our lives, we kindly ask that only children from our immediate families join us on our special day. If your child is included, you will see their name listed on your RSVP. We hope this allows everyone to relax and celebrate with us. Thank you so much for your understanding!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space and budget, we kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend. Our celebration is RSVP-only, and we’re only able to accommodate the guests named on your invite.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. Think colorful cocktail dresses, a suit and tie or a sports coat. The color scheme is not strict but it's basically any warm spring colors - like blush pink, olive green, chartreuse, orange, mauve, and raspberry. Florals or any whimsical pattern would be great too!

Question

Will transportation be provided to and from the hotel, ceremony and reception?

Answer

The hotel where we have a courtesy room block (Courtyard by Marriott) provides a complimentary round trip shuttle service to the Oaks at Salem when at least 10 rooms are reserved as they are only 4 miles from the venue! UPDATED MARCH 7: The shuttle is booked for our block! The first shuttle to the 4pm ceremony leaves at 3pm and the second leaves at 3:30pm. Then after the reception, there will be a shuttle at 8:50pm and 9:25pm. You should receive a shuttle sign up sheet from the hotel.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Mandatory valet parking will be provided free of charge by the venue for your convenience.

Question

Will dinner be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes! Hors d'oeuvres will be served during cocktail hour and a full buffet-style dinner will be served during the reception.

Question

Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or special diet options?

Answer

Our caterer can definitely accommodate special dietary restrictions, but please mention your needs in the RSVP form or just contact the bride ahead of time if those arrangements need to be made since the caterer will only make those accomodations on a case by case basis.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, the venue has full wheelchair accessibility.

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both taking place at The Oaks at Salem: 6304 Old Jenks Rd, Apex, NC 27523

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting) while the cocktail hour and reception will be half indoor, half outdoor under a 3200 sq ft tent.
