Arden had spent 4 days on OkCupid, and came across Bill's profile. She was drawn to Bill's humor and lengthy descriptions of his hobbies, interests, and Judaism. Bill was drawn to Arden's earnestness, and completely different life from his own. They spent time talking, first through the messaging app and then through Arden's clever acquisition of Bill's phone number - the promise of cat pics. Talking led to a first date - at Bill's favorite bar (now defunct) on South Street. Their attraction was instant, and before hello's had finished they had shared their first kiss. A few hours later with discussions over wings and margaritas a drunken Italian woman asked "when's the wedding?". In the moment we laughed, not expecting that 4 years later we would have set the date already. That one night turned into 2, and then 3 as they spent the whole weekend together at Arden's new home in East Falls. They joke that their first date lasted a whopping 72 hours.
