October 2017, I was enjoying ladies night out on a Thursday evening at the Cabin Bar and Grill when I suddenly needed to go for a potty break. As I was standing in the long women's restroom line, that's when I noticed Carlos looking at me. Flirtatiously I asked him to sneak me into the men's restroom because I just could not wait any longer. Shocked, his reply was "Yes! Come on!'. After playfully declining, we found each other by the dancefloor. After small conversation we ended the night with SnapChat codes exchanged and observed each others stories here and there throughout the months. In May 2018, we had another unexpected encounter Thursday evening at the Cabin and again ended the night with conversation and well wishes. When July 2018 rolled by, I had a tug in my heart to reach out to Carlos. So when he had seen one of my stories I had posted, I replied. After finally talking and getting to know each other outside of Cabin and Snapchat, we finally decided to give it a chance. On August 11th, 2018 Carlos officially asked me to be his girl. A month later, September 2018, we found out we were expecting our precious Jenecia. Then when December 29th 2019 rolled around, Carlos planned a family photo shoot for us. Unbeknownst to me Carlos surprisingly proposed during the shoot(thanks sissy poo). After repeatedly asking if he was serious, I finally said YES!! God had brought two lost hearts together when they least expected it and created a family. Our journey has been a definite blessing and we cannot wait to say "I Do" in front of God and all of our loved ones!
