We met thru facebook on August 2019. I accepted his friend request by mistake because I was waiting on a med rep for a business transaction from BBraun. I received 3 dozen roses from VINCE the next week at work (Labor/Quirino Hospital) in Quezon City. What I liked about his way of courtship is that He was very consistent in calling, texting and sending small gifts like food even though he was halfway across the globe. Social media pranks were scary and to prove he is serious, he asked his brother to visit me personally at work. Then came my birthday in November 2019, he surprised me with an Apple Watch, flowers and my favourite Chocolate Cake. After that, his family asked me to go with them to dinner at the Fort, BGC. I knew then, well that he was a real person. We had constant communication from time to time, getting to know each other more and more even with the timezone difference. Valentine's Day, it was a very special day for it was my late mother's birthday. The midwives woke me up saying that there was an emergency. I was astonishingly surprised that a tall, cute, awkwardly postured man was walking towards me and it made my heart flutter. He personally introduced himself with a dozen of roses, Portos and a sketch of my face on hand. The next day, he asked me to be his GIRLFRIEND and well I said "MAYBE". Kidding aside, we started going out everyday. Met his family so soon and fell in love even more. This was love during the time of COVID outbreak, we were together for 5 months until he left for the US. It was hard, being in an LDR (long-distance relationship). It was one hell of a rollercoaster ride but I knew we can make it. It was a few months after when I came to the US for a vacation last November 2020 and then he proposed during Christmas and you know the answer to that… And that is why we are all here today.
