Hotels in the Area

There are many hotel options in Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Medford and Arlington that are easily accessible to the venue. We will be staying at The Row Hotel in Assembly Square, Somerville. La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham is just a few blocks away. Assembly Square is a fairly walkable area easily accessible by car and transit, and has a lot of its own shops and restaurants. We also had our first trip to the area together at Hotel 1868. That and its sister hotel, The Porter Square Hotel, are great options in Cambridge around Porter Square. This area has more of a city feel, in an area that is very walkable and has public transit. There are also a number of nice hotels in the bustling Harvard Square neighborhood in Cambridge, accessible by T to the venue. Homewood Suites in Arlington is another convenient option close to our home, with amenities like kitchenettes and parking, located in a quiet but central neighborhood.

Getting Around

If you're not driving to the area, we don't recommend renting a car as parking can be difficult in Somerville and Cambridge since most streets are resident-only. If you are driving, please plan parking with your hotel and avoid driving to the venue unless you plan for parking in advance. Generally, uber and lyft tend to be very available and reasonably cost-effective for the short journey between the recommended hotels and the venue. If you'd prefer public transit to the venue, you can take the bus (90) from the hotels in Assembly Row, Somerville or the subway (red line) 1 stop from the hotels in Porter Square, Cambridge.
