Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Lauren Radmer and Jordan Archer
We are so excited to share the beauty of the Columbia Gorge with you, one of our favorite areas for hiking with our pups! If you will have a car with you, we recommend exploring the following areas:

Multnomah Falls

‍53000 E Historic Columbia River Hwy, Bridal Veil, OR 97014

Multnomah Falls is one of Oregon's most iconic natural wonders, and it is right off of the highway! In the summer, this majestic waterfall, cascading 620 feet, is a must-see. Start your visit with a short hike to the Benson Bridge for an up-close view of the falls and the surrounding lush forest. For the more adventurous, continue the hike to the top for an unforgettable perspective. The nearby historic Multnomah Falls Lodge offers a cozy spot to enjoy a meal or a cup of coffee with a view. If you have additional time, feel free to explore the scenic trails and viewpoints along the Columbia River Gorge! **Make sure to purchase a $2 visiting permit for entry: https://www.recreation.gov/timed-entry/10089144

Hood River

Hood River, OR

Hood River is one of our favorite towns in the Columbia River Gorge. Located 20 minutes east of our venue, this town is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and relaxation seekers alike. In the summer, you can discover the exhilarating windsurfing and kiteboarding opportunities on the Columbia River, or explore the scenic hiking and biking trails that offer breathtaking views of the gorge and Mount Hood. Don't miss the chance to visit the local orchards and vineyards, where you can enjoy fresh fruit and wine tasting tours. The vibrant downtown area is perfect for strolling, with unique shops, art galleries, and delicious dining options. **We recommend going wine tasting through the variety of beautiful wineries located in Hood River!

White Salmon

White Salmon, WA

White Salmon is just across the river from Hood River. Summer in White Salmon offers a plethora of activities and attractions for you to enjoy. Embark on a thrilling white-water rafting or kayaking adventure on the White Salmon River, known for its pristine waters and exhilarating rapids. For a more relaxed experience, explore the charming downtown area with its eclectic shops, local breweries, and farm-to-table dining options. The surrounding area boasts excellent hiking and biking trails with stunning views of Mount Adams and the Columbia River Gorge. **We recommend booking a day pass at The Society Hotel Spa and Bathhouse, where you can take advantage of their warm saltwater soaking pool, cold plunge, sauna and hot tub!

Skamania Lodge

1131 Southwest Skamania Lodge Way, Stevenson, WA 98648

In the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, Skamania Lodge offers a wealth of adventurous and relaxing activities. Guests can explore the stunning natural surroundings with miles of hiking and biking trails that wind through the forest and offer breathtaking views of the gorge. For a unique experience, try the lodge's own zip-line course, aerial park, and axe throwing. The lodge also offers an 18-hole golf course set against the backdrop of the Cascade Mountains, as well as mini golf and disc golf. Additionally, take advantage of a luxurious spa including an indoor pool, fitness center, and nightly bonfires complete with s'mores. Dining options feature locally-sourced cuisine at the Cascade Dining Room and casual bites at the River Rock Lounge.
