They met at Lake Nokomis on June 8th, 2024 and have been inseparable ever since. From the very beginning, there was something special between them. What started as an immediate spark quickly grew into a deep, steady, and joyful love. Derek’s passionate heart, true loyalty, and brilliant mind made Aranza feel safe, seen, and deeply loved. He became her home. Aranza’s compassionate nature, principled character and effortless sense of humor melted Derek's heart. Over time, their love has grown through fun dates, quiet moments, tennis battles, weekly rituals, family bonding and dreams of the future. By supporting each other through adversity and tough conversations. Together, they've stumbled upon a life of belonging, joy, and anticipation of starting their own family. Now, with the support of their closest friends and family, they are ready to begin their forever. On September 21, 2025, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, at the beautiful Casa Borell, Aranza and Derek will say "I do." They can’t wait to celebrate this unforgettable day with all of you.
