Matron of Honor
Araksya and I go back to 2011! She asked me to do her makeup, & I️ said “I don’t usually do a good job on others”. I️ don’t think she liked that very much! Since then the rest has been history! We’ve laughed, partied, cried, shared memories, and had so much fun in our friendship! I’ve seen her grow from getting her bachelors all the way to being so successful in her career now. Best memory of her is sitting on the hood of her car talking about “the guy” we will marry and how life will be. Well, the time is here and I️ couldn’t be anymore happier for her! What I️ appreciate so much is that we can go on days without talking and it never changes our relationship. We can pick it back up at any point. And for that I️ love her so much. I’m looking forward to all the amazing celebrations to come!
Maid of Honor
I am the Maid of Honor, Kara (or as she calls me, Blondie!) The quote, “a brunette & a blonde with an inseparable bond,” couldn’t describe us any more. We met in '06 when she moved from Europe & became best friends right away. From homecoming dances to driving school & getting our first jobs, it was always such an adventure growing up together. We’ve gone on so many memorable trips together. I’ve always admired her compassion for others, and I remember meeting Ricardo in 2015 at her 25th birthday, & his same thoughtfulness & care for her & others shined through, & I am overjoyed that they are getting married. Both ambitious & hardworking & I look forward to seeing the amazing things that they will accomplish next!
Bridesmaid
Roxy’s groupie from her DJ days, folding panties mate at Victoria’s Secret, and later her upstairs work neighbor, all-in-all her partner in crime. We became inseparable the moment I saw her DJing back in 2011 when “YOLO” was our motto. Together, we’ve been beach bums in Ocean City, weekend trekkers to the big apple, work buddies at Victoria’s Secret and Vonage, and now homeowners with budding careers. Through all of our years together she’s been more than a friend to me, she’s been my sassy sister. She’s always been available to me with her sincerity, wisdom, and compassion which she brings to her relationship with Ricardo. I love them both and I’m excited to be a part of their special day.
Bridesmaid
Hi, my name is Hamideh, people call me Honey, much easier to pronounce :) First time I met Roxy I knew we would become close friends. I love the fact that sheʼs real honest and down to earth. Sheʼs caring, kind and values friendships very much. I enjoyed every minute of our friendship; from where we can secretly talk about others in another language to our deep conversations in the hot tubs. Iʼm so happy that we crossed each otherʼs paths and gained such an amazing friend! When I found out about Ricardo and Roxy, I was so happy that she found someone that loves and cherish her for who she is, and they both give each other what they really deserve. I love them both very much and looking forward the wedding and their new journey!
Bridesmaid
Met Roxy through her matron of honor, Rabia last summer. Didn't take more than a car ride to realize how much we clicked! We connected instantly & shared much in common on many different levels. The thing that really unites us though, is our favorite hobby, enjoying hours of eating cemuchki (sunflower seeds) together. We can't help it, I guess as Armenians, it's in our blood! Summer barbecues, movie nights, game nights, etc. Ricky is low-key a five star chef, & always prepares the most delicious, lip-smacking dinners! Just as Roxy is incredibly loving, caring, & nurturing, Ricky complements those qualities of hers himself. Together, they are a dynamic duo. Both are fiercely committed to supporting one another & taking good care of each other. Can't wait to celebrate their love this year!
Best Man
Ever since we were kids, my big brother Ricardo has always been there for me. We used to play around our neighborhood in Peru growing up, attended the same school, & even learned how to surf together. We always came as a package. Life had changed a bunch, but we did not, we have always been a goofy duo. We have always had lots of fun spent together. From swimming lessons when we were kids, working together at the go-kart track, & riding together to school in Ricardo’s sports car. We have always been close to one another. Ricardo has always been an amazing best friend and big brother. We’ve always been by each other’s side & I’m so happy that he’s found Roxy, I’ve never seen him happier before. I’m thankful & honored I get to stand next to him for such an important celebration in his life.
Groomsman
My name is Juan, or Juanjo to the family, and I am Ricardo's youngest brother. Ricardo was the best big brother I could have asked for growing up. He taught me many lessons about life, responsibilities, and making the right decisions. You have left me a great path to follow so I want to take this opportunity to thank you. You have always looked out for me and you were always there for me. You were there with a shoulder to cry and an ear to listen. Please continue to be the supportive and caring individual you are, I strive to be as happy as you. We have shared so many laughs and memories and I can't wait to hear the new stories you and Roxy will live. Always remember that with love and care, there's nothing you guys can't accomplish. Wish you both a lifetime of love, happiness, and wealth.
Groomsman
I am Sergio, Ricardo’s cousin and groomsman. I don’t remember how we met exactly, because I was 2 years old. However, I remember spending every summer together. Since then we have been inseparable. One day he mentioned a girl he met. Then, he started to disappear all weekend; something was going on. One night in DC, Ricardo wanted to 'check out’ a club. There, he started talking to this lady, and that’s how I met Roxy. She's really funny and outgoing. The best part was to see Ricardo when she was around, he looked so happy with her. We all started to hang out more, and I officially became the third wheel. Since then, we spent a lot of time together, and Roxy and I became really good friends. Now, I see her as the sister that I never had. I love you two, and I wish you the best always.
Groomsman
Ricardo and I met on our first day of class and after that first day it was the start of a life long friendship. Ricardo would always come over to my house to hang out and quickly became part of the family. So much so that he began calling my mom, mom. I would also go over to his house and I also felt like I was part of his family. He is the brother I never had. He will soon experience the joys of fatherhood, just as I recently have. What makes it even better, is that he will get to experience it with the woman he loves, Roxy. Lots of people believe that the point of having a successful marriage is to find someone who completes you, as some might call it your other half. I know that Ricardo and Roxy have that. I wish you both all the best in this new chapter of your lives and beyond.
Groomsman
Ricardo and I first met when we were 2 or 3 years old and we’ve been close friends ever since. We lived down the street from each other, went to pre-k together, and always hung out. Birthdays, beach days, family events, it didn't matter, we were always together. One day he started telling me about this girl he met. I started seeing them hang out on social media, attending dinners with family... I knew something was up lol. I’ve know this man all my live so when they came to San Diego and I met Roxy, I instantly felt like I just met my sister in law. The vibe of love was all round, I saw Ricardo and his future wife! The chemistry and connection was undeniable and I knew it was only a matter of time. I can’t wait to continue seeing your relationship grow and be a part of your special day!
