We're Getting Married

If you ask us both how we met we have different stories, the first time I met Shaun he was dressed as Pauly D.. lol it was at a Halloween party. Shaun's friend came to me and my friend, wanting to talk to her and of course we blew him off lol so he left and came back with reinforcements (Shaun). Then I hear Shaun telling his friend he couldn't talk to me because he knew me.. so I turned to look at him (no idea who he was) and I told him he didn't know me!! He tells me yes he does, so I asked him what was my name? he responded "Aracely" totally catching me of guard! He apparently says he had watched me and had a whole plan about how he was going to talk to me and the Halloween party wasn't it but he made it work lol after he tells me my name he decides to ask me "Whats my name?" lol making me really wonder who this guy is! after I responded "I don't know!" there was an awkward silence and we both went back to our separate group of friends... and just like that is how I had my 1st incounter with Shaun.

We decided to plan a little getaway for our 7yr anniversary to a place called Blue Gill Lake. Booked a nice cozy cabin with a jacuzzi and a view of one of the lakes, it was remote and quiet just how we like it! We were there for 4 days and enjoyed every single minute there, we barbecued and went kayaking, took morning walks and bird watched it was so peaceful! On our last night there Shaun was acting really weird (he was pulling his beard hair alot, he does this when he's nervous) and wasn't talking much lol which was odd but I didn't think much of it. We made dinner together and ate outside by the campfire. After dinner the plan was to make s'mores, so we started the process... we picked good twigs, sharpened the ends and as we're putting the marshmallows on them Shaun walks up to me and throws!! my twig and marshmallow on the patio where we were sitting and took me by my hands. He started by telling me how much he loved me and said everything a girl wants to hear when being proposed to, then gets down on one knee!! I was so excited and in shock!! and when he asked me to marry him I said of course I will!!!💍❤
