Do the restaurant and market at the Ridge accept cash as payment?

Answer

No. The resort is a cashless resort, they accept credit and debit cards, and can also charge to the room.

How can I get to the ceremony?

Answer

The Ridge resort has a shuttle that you can call to pick you up from a designated spot near your room. The extension is 6200 using one of the landlines in your room. Or you can call 775-580-6591 from your cell phone. If you're not staying at the resort, you will check in at the security gate and be shuttled to the ceremony.

What time should I plan to arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

While the ceremony is scheduled to start at 5:00 pm, please plan to arrive between 4:30 and 4:40 pm.

Can I bring my own alcohol for the reception?

Answer

Unfortunately, the Ridge resort does not allow outside alcohol to be brought in for the reception except for wine. They will charge a $22 corkage per bottle. Please enjoy the bar at the reception!

How should I prepare for the mountain weather?

Answer

The mountain air will feel cooler than what you may be used to, so please be prepared with a jacket and other warm clothing. The weather is expected to be windy but clear on our wedding day.

What happens if it rains during the ceremony?

Answer

If it precipitates during the ceremony, we will relocate indoors to the same room the reception will be in.
