Best Men

My two best men are my two best friends. It was impossible to choose one of them as they've both been a vital part of becoming the man I am today. They are in every way role models for my future and two people I've always dreamed of sharing this role in our wedding. Their unwavering love and support has been there for me as long as I've lived. Man of Honor

I choose Jordan because he came back into my life at a time when I needed him the most. His dedication to our friendship (even after his move to Florida) made him a clear choice to be my Man of Honor! His loyalty to our friendship has allowed not only our bond to grow but expand to a future where he has become like a family member to both me and Chris. Our wedding party would not be complete without my sisters. Sharing a room with all of them was not always easy, but i'm glad that the memories I built with them still make us laugh when we get together for our sister dates. Lucia is not only the best sister in law I could ask for but she flawlessly fit into our family by being a person I could confide in. Her care for my nephews and nieces as well as her love for my brother are qualities we strive to build in relationship together. Year we met: 2007

We chose Azaria because she has been with us since the beginning of our relationship. Both Chris and I have had a meaningful relationship. Her support has never stopped despite her move to Washington. I chose Angela Maciel and Mary Lu Buenrostro because they have become my sisters. Our friendship grew as we confided in each other about school and work. I look to both women for advice and during family get togethers at the Aldama's I can always look forward to spending time with these two ladies to share our accomplishments and achievements. We chose Divesh to be a part of our wedding party as we couldn’t imagine this day without him. He’s been one of our best friends since we met. Now, Divesh inspires us in different ways. While he currently lives in Washington DC. Divesh still puts so much work into keeping his friendships alive. Divesh shows us how support can be shown through work towards another person. It can be as simple as a well timed phone call, or prioritizing a meetup. But it’s enough to keep a friendship and partnership alive and well. Year we met: 2012

There aren’t many people that one can say brought security in a time of uncertainty, or were there for you when you needed a friend. But Abigail has always found a way to be that friend unwavered when in dire straits. She inspires us by being there for each other when times seem too much. And her love with Adriana show us what time plays less of a role in relationships as commitment. Year we met: 2016

We chose John to be a part of our wedding party because he has become a part of our family. John shows us how every moment is an opportunity for joy. However in that pursuit of joy, we also need to strive for honesty at all costs. John, with every word, strives to be as honest as humanly possible with himself and the people around him. I chose Sarah because from the day I met her she has supported me with honesty and hope. She is one of the first people I met in college who was able to allow me to share my experiences outside the classroom.
