For the celebration of our marriage as we begin our forever surrounded by family and friends.

Koty and Araceli’s story began in March of 2019 at Wells Fargo, where Araceli was tasked with training a new teller named Koty. From the start, Koty was captivated not just by how beautiful she was, but by how sharp, confident, and genuinely kind she was. Araceli couldn’t deny that something was endearing about his energy. Over time, she realized that he had a selfless heart and an earnestness that made it impossible not to care about him. Their friendship was the kind that everyone around them noticed, full of banter, teasing, inside jokes, and a playfulness that never faded. They both quietly developed deeper feelings but were too afraid to act on them, worried it might ruin what they already had. Then life intervened: Koty was deployed, and their bond grew even stronger despite the distance. When he returned home, both found themselves single at the same time in years and it finally felt like the right time to take that leap. Araceli says Koty is brave, that while she has the heart for kindness, he has the courage to carry it out. They complement each other perfectly: her compassion and his determination, her patience and his humor, her calm and his courage. Their first vacation together set the tone for their love story, an adventure that started in Las Vegas, where they rented a little BMW convertible and took off to explore Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon. It was breathtaking, fun, and a little chaotic, the perfect mix for them. That trip sealed their love for exploring nature, discovering new cultures, and (most importantly) trying new foods. To this day, road trips and national parks are some of their favorite adventures. When they’re not traveling, Koty and Araceli are happiest just being together, cooking dinner, watching a movie, or simply sitting in comfortable silence. Their love shows itself through small acts of service and simple moments that quietly say, I love you. Then, in October of 2023, in Minneapolis, Koty got down on one knee. He’ll admit he was so nervous that all he could manage was a shaky, “Will you marry me?” — but luckily, that was all he needed to say. Araceli said yes, and just like that, their next great adventure began.
