What are the venue restrictions?

Answer

The venue DOES NOT allow the following: Vaping/smoking inside (if you smoke, please dispose of the butts in the provided ashtrays outside), drugs (including marijuana), parking on the grass or patio, bringing your own alcohol/tailgating (meaning pre-game drinks in your car/in the parking lot). **It is important that these restrictions are followed. If found violating any of these rules, you will be asked to leave this event.**

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. We hope you understand our decision.

Will there be hotel blocks?

Answer

The venue is in a tourist area, known for commercial and natural attractions. Because of this, we want to leave the lodging decisions up to you in the event that you would like to stay the whole weekend in a cabin or with another guest in a specific area. Please reference the Travel tab for lodging and flight suggestions/inspiration.

What are the parking conditions?

Answer

There is convenient parking for 53 cars, including 50 gravel parking spots and 3 paved handicap spots (we request that you please park in the gravel lot as we do have family members who will need to use these 3 spots).

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Absolutely! The venue has handicap parking, a ramp, and a handicap-accessible bathroom. There is a men's and women's, multi-stall restroom located on either side of the handicap restroom. Please keep the handicap accessible restroom open for the guests who need it.

Can I bring my furry friend?

Answer

We understand how important our relationship with our pets can be and are aware that some of you may want to travel with your furry friends. HOWEVER, the venue does NOT allow pets on the property. Please ensure that your lodging allows pets in the event you decide to bring your furry friend along.

Are children allowed?

Answer

YES! We understand that we are in the era of "child-free" weddings. However, we are aware that many of you have children and we want to invite them to enjoy the excitement. We do ask that you please monitor your children as we are in a large wooded area and are liable for any damages that occur to the structure/venue property. We will be providing "fun packs" for the kids to occupy them when they need some stimulation (I will be sending out a questionnaire on the Facebook event in the future for fun pack item ideas).

WIFI?

Answer

There is no wifi at the venue. We do request that you honor our decision to have an unplugged ceremony. We have paid a fantastic photographer to capture this moment and want as little distractions as possible. Regarding phone service, we are not sure as different service providers have different strengths. Please be prepared for "spotty" signal anywhere that is heavily wooded or at a high elevation.
