Oxford Botanic Garden
The University of Oxford Botanic Garden is the oldest botanic garden in Great Britain and one of the oldest scientific gardens in the world. The garden was founded in 1621 as a physic garden growing plants for medicinal research.
Ashmolean Museum
Oxford is home to the world’s oldest public museum, the Ashmolean Museum. It houses important collections of art and artefacts ranging from Egyptian mummies to contemporary art. There is something for everyone!

Cherwell Boathouse Punts
Punting is a truly timeless, slightly eccentric, quintessentially Oxford, idyllic pleasure. Mid-March is the start of the punting season, so if the weather plays ball, you may be able to get out on one of the first punts of the season. Failing that, a walk along the river is always a great activity!
Blenheim Palace
Home to the 12th Duke of Marlborough and his family and the birth place of Sir Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site boasting stunning Baroque architecture and over 2,000 acres of landscaped parkland to explore. The Palace and Grounds are fabulous to visit, and there is a great adventure playground, maze, and butterfly house. The palace is linked to the Walled Garden by a miniature railway, the Blenheim Park Railway, which is fun to ride on.
