Ferry Information

Click “View” below for the Washington State Ferries website. To get to Saltwater Farm, you will need to hop on the ferry from Anacortes, Washington to Friday Harbor (San Juan Island), Washington. The round-trip rate for vehicles under 14’ in length is $56.45 (including the driver’s fare). For vehicles under 22’ in length, the rate is $70.90. Each additional passenger’s ticket costs $14.50. From personal experience, parking at the ferry terminal in Anacortes and walking onto the ferry was very easy (and cheap - 24 hour parking was around $10), and the walk-on ferry ticket price is only $14.50 round-trip. Ride-share and taxi services are available on the island, with Saltwater Farm just over one mile from the Friday Harbor ferry terminal where you will arrive. The Friday Harbor ferry terminal is right in the heart of downtown Friday Harbor, with plenty of hotels, BnB’s, shops and great restaurants within walking distance.
