We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you.

The Branford Trolley Trail is a 1.2 mile roundtrip hike along an abondoned trolley track with views of the sound and marshes. We like to grab a coffee or a sandwich at Stony Creek Market and sit at the beach. Ernie highly recommends.

Branford Trolley Trail

Branford has a great downtown for walking around, doing some shopping and grabbing a bite to eat. For an easy lunch, GCafe has sandwiches, salads and pastries. Pasta Cosi is our favorite spot to grab dinner downtown. For drinks and appetizers, we recommend Pearl Wine Bar.

Downtown Branford

If you've never tried New Haven pizza - apizza - we highly recommend heading into New Haven (around 10 minutes away) for a slice. The 'Big 3' are Frank Pepe's, Sally's and Modern - we're partial to Modern (try the clam!) and Bar (try the mashed potato bacon!)
