What should we wear?

Answer

Wear something that is comfortable & somewhat formal. Sundresses, slacks, button down shirts, etc. are perfectly fine. It can get hot during the day & cool at night, so keep that in mind when packing :)

How do I get into the state park without paying?

Answer

Let the people at the front booth know you're with the wedding party. They will let you in for free. Make your way towards the lodge!

When should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 2:45PM The wedding takes place in a state park, which will be open all day. If you don't mind being outside in your nice clothes before the wedding, come early to enjoy the springs! There are boat tours (which charge a fee to ride) that circle the spring full of wildlife -- it is gorgeous. This is where Tarzan and the Creature from the Black Lagoon were filmed.

Is alcohol on the house?

Answer

We will provide each guest with 2 drink tickets, which only covers beer and wine. Special cocktails / high end alcohol is not covered. Have fun & share if you don't want yours!

Does Tallahassee have good public transportation?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. If you'd like to sight-see, a car would be needed. Neighborhoods that are easily walkable and have restaurants nearby include Midtown, All Saints, and parts of downtown.

Can I bring a Plus-One?

Answer

Unless it is indicated on your invite, please do not. We are paying per person to eat & cannot afford additional guests. If you would like to add on a guest you will need to directly contact us and offer to pay for their alcohol and meals.

Do you have a wedding registry?

What is Tallahassee like in May?

Answer

It typically does not rain very much (by Florida's standards) but everyone should be prepared for potential rain. May is when it starts to get hot! Dress for warm weather but bring a sweater just in case.
