We’re Getting Married!

In October of 2021, Ronald went on our local Nextdoor app and introduced himself as new to the area and was looking for church recommendations. April was on the same app looking for upcoming community events. His post pops up, and of course she recommends the church she attends, which was followed by at least 20 other church suggestions by other Nextdoor users. The next month, on the first Saturday in November, he reached out to April and asked for more details about the church she attends, and after two hours of messaging back and forth, he decided he would come to church the next day to visit. Sure enough he did, insisting on sitting next to her because he was her guest. And they have been sitting next to each other in church and everywhere else since! Look at God!

It was important to Ronald that he proposed to April at the church where they first met. On the first Sunday in November 2024, three years to the Sunday they met, he arranged to propose to April after church in the Chapel. In front of a few close friends and after some very sweet words to April, he got on one knee and asked her to marry him. She of course said YES!
