When and where is the wedding?

Our wedding will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the American Legion Post 354 in Midlothian, VA. The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors in the backyard area (weather permitting).

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Think garden party formal. Light, flowy, and semi-formal attire is perfect. Pastel colors fit right in, but wear what makes you comfortable. Just keep in mind we’ll be outdoors on grass.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 3:30 PM to find your seat. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both will primarily be outdoors in the backyard space. We’ll move inside and/or under a pavilion if the weather doesn’t cooperate.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, the venue has plenty of on-site parking.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We would love to celebrate with everyone, but due to space and budget, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation.

Yes! We are excited to celebrate with the whole family. We will have a mother's room available inside.

Yes, there will be beer and wine.

What’s the best airport to fly into?

Answer

If you’re traveling from out of state, Richmond International Airport (RIC) is the closest airport, about 30 minutes away.

Do you have hotel block information?

Answer

Yes! We are working on securing a discounted hotel block nearby.

The reception will wrap up around 9:00 PM, with a fun sparkler send-off for the bride and groom.
