PVR is about 3 hours southwest of Santa Maria del Oro. This route will cruise you through the coastal towns of Nayarit, and loop you into the countryside after passing the famous playa of Guayabitos!

GDL is about 2.5 hours southeast of Santa Maria del Oro. This route will take you through Jalisco and into the countryside of Nayarit, directly past the famous town of Tequila!

Please exchange your dollars and have some pesos on hand before you arrive at your destination. Peso exchange rates at airports are usually 4-5 pesos less than the international exchange rate. If you would like to send yourself a certain amount of funds for pick up in Tepic, I would suggest setting up your account on the Remitly App ahead of time, or visiting a casa de cambio once you are in Tepic.

For the Adventurous Ones

A very common way to get around in Mexico is by riding a major bus line from the central de camiones. If you are flying into GDL you will want to get a taxi to the Central de Autobuses de Guadalajara, Nueva Central Camionera, 45580 San Pedro Tlaquepaque, Jal., Mexico. If you are flying into PVR you will want to get a taxi to the Central de Autobuses Puerto Vallarta, Bahía de Sin Nombre No. 363 192, Guadalupe Victoria, 48317 Puerto Vallarta, Jal., Mexico. I recommend using the Omnibus line, which has departures to Tepic, Nayarit every hour.

As per Mexican culture, the bride and the groom cannot see eachother 24 hours before the wedding. The Groom will stay at the Marriot in Tepic and the Bride will head to Santa Maria del Oro on the morning of the 25th. There will be a shuttle bus leaving from the Marriot in Tepic at 1 PM on the day of the 26th. The shuttle will return to Tepic by Midnight on the night of the 26th. For those who wish to stay the night in Santa Maria Del Oro, please consider reserving your stay in advance. The wedding venue is at the top of the crater, and we will have convi's available to transport folks to and from their units. We will have a relaxed brunch at Restaurante El Campesino on the day of the 27th, before departing on the 28th.

Estaremos brindando un servicio de traslado desde Tepic a la Boda, y de regreso a Tepic después de la Recepción.
