Who knew a quick scroll through Facebook Dating on February 9, 2024, would lead to forever? Six days later, on February 15, 2024, Marco and I met for our first date—happy hour at RT’s Restaurant in Alexandria, VA. The sparks flew immediately, but the night’s real excitement started in the parking lot, where I nearly tumbled head over heels! Unbeknownst to me, Marco was being his charmingly nosey self, peering out the restaurant window, and saw the whole spectacle. Naturally, he let me get comfortable—and two or three drinks deep—before delivering the hilarious confession that he’d watched me almost fall. It was the moment that sealed the deal; a perfect blend of genuine connection and side-splitting laughter. We quickly became inseparable, making plans for a second date just a week later and spending all our free time together ever since. Over the last couple of years, we've filled our lives with travel, memories, and the joy of watching our families and friends become intertwined. In March 2025, we rang in both our birthdays in Aruba, a trip where we conquered snorkeling for the first time together! Summer 2025, we took the big leap and moved in. This year has been monumental: we got engaged in the beautiful Bimini Bahamas in January & officially became homeowners in March. We've been thick as thieves, & our story just keeps getting better! ~April
