A cute and trendy coffee shop where you can catch a glimpse of some jewelry I've made on their retail wall. My favorite menu items are the Eggwich and the Lavender Honey Latte. They have an upstairs outdoor patio as well as seating on the sidewalk. Closes early afternoon, check hours before visiting,
Located downtown, this local brewery offers good beer, good eats, and good times. The historic building used to be owned by a Japanese American family and the brewery reflects that name.
A little more expensive but lots of outdoor seating with beautiful views of the gorge. Open for lunch and dinner, located near our venue.
The location of our Friday night happy hour also serves great brunch! Outdoor patio seating available.
A cute little down home diner with classic American diner foods, including breakfast all day. Very friendly staff and willing to accommodate large parties with some notice!
Open for lunch time, great sandwiches and sidewalk seating.
A new attraction in our town, this food hall offers a variety of food and has outdoor seating in good weather.
A park located in the valley of a canyon with a fast moving creek through the middle. A paved trail circles around the creek for easy walking/jogging, and there are three small bridges you can cross over to look out for fish, birds, and marmots nesting nearby. This free park is a favorite for when we need a little nature walk. There's also a playground for kids.
May or may not be charging admission by that time of year - as it is a popular spot for local fishing - but has some easy to medium trails for hikers of all ages. There's a hidden cave you can crawl through and in the spring you can see marmots coming out of their dens along the rock canyon. There is also a playground for children and admission into this park will also gain you admission to see Shoshone Falls, aka Niagara of the West.
Tucked off the edge of the road is this semi-accessible waterfall where you can (carefully) hike behind and take pictures in front of. Please wear practical shoes as this path can be a little treacherous and slippery. Please use caution if you have small children or bad balance. Fun fact, this waterfall is visible from our venue.
Near the Perrine Coulee Falls. There is an upper and lower trail which both have great views - the upper trail is mostly flat and easy, the lower trail has some steep metal stairs to get to the actual trailhead and then can be uneven footing. This is where I often see porcupines but will probably be too late in the spring for them.

A little park tucked in between buildings that has a life size chess board, a piano, ride-on toys, and statues to walk around.
