we're getting married!

We met in our English Writing 50 class in college. He always sat right next to me but we didn't really talk to each other at first. One day, he mentioned to a class mate that he was only 19. I was so shocked. I told him he looked older and didn't want to tell him how old I thought he was. He then started talking to me about a girlfriend he had, that cheated on him at a party. The next few days, in class, he asked me to go with him to the movies because he had an extra ticket considering the circumstances and told me that it was just a friend thing. Ever since then, we hung out all the time, we even went on trips to six flags! We ended up being the best of friends until we decided to be together 3 years later.

Karl and I decided that this was just going to be a relaxing day because we were both tired and we didn't end up having any plans. So, on any normal day for us, we decided we were going to stay home and watch movies together. After it got a little later, Karl decided that he didn't really want to watch movies but instead wanted to lay down together and talk like we do almost every night. He climbed over me slightly with his arms while we were just talking about how happy we were together and how much I meant to him and vice versa. Which, by the way, gave me butterflies like crazy and still does. He then grabbed me slightly with his arms as if he was going to give me a hug, and then popped the question, "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" and had the ring in his hand. I said "YES" immediately with NO hesitation. I was SO excited. My thought process, was "I am actually going to be marrying my BEST friend!" Although we were't together that long when he popped the question, I still could not be any happier. He is my soul mate, the best part of me, my other half, and the love of my life. what a beautiful combination. We're so excited to celebrate this special day with you. See you soon.
