We're Getting Married!

Our first morning waking up on the cruise. John was adamant that we see the sunrise that morning. We made our way to the top deck of the cruise ship and he’s looking for the perfect place to watch the sunrise. He finds the spot he likes and we stand there and talk as we wait for the sun to come up. The conversation was cute and simple, little questions like why do you love me are you sure you want to be with me, and then as the sun started to rise he says let’s make this official and starts to get down on one knee. Me not knowing what was happening thought he was joking and starting laughing saying “what are you doing, you’re not serious” but when I heard him say my full name and the ring box came out of his pocket I knew it was no joke. The laughter turned to tears of joy and of course I said yes just as the sun came up and gave us the most beautiful sunrise.
