Our wedding will take place aboard the Yacht Starship during daylight hours. Tampa weather in March/April averages 60s-80s with minimal humidity. The attire is semi-formal. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear suits or sport coats with dress pants (ties optional), while ladies may opt for cocktail or maxi dresses or elegant separates.
The ship will definitely start to sail at 11:15 am from Yacht Starship at 603 Channelside Drive, Tampa, FL 33602. If you're late, you will have to swim! Paid parking is available but limited, especially if there is an event at Amalie arena. The Pirate Water Taxi has a drop-off (stop #2) at Yacht Starship with several pickup locations along the river (prices vary). The TECO Streetcar also has a drop-off (stop #8) and is free. If you're coming from the Westin hotel you have three options: arrive by walking (0.7 miles), pick up the Pirate Water Taxi from either stop #7 or #4, or utilize the TECO Streetcar pickup at stop #10.
