What is Golden Gardens?

Answer

Golden Gardens is a public park in Seattle. It has a sandy beach, gorgeous views of the Puget Sound and the Olympics, and train tracks! It is not a garden. :)

Where can I park?

Answer

There is free parking at Golden Gardens but it is VERY limited on a hot, summer Saturday. Please make alternative plans if you can. There is a King County Metro bus that drops people off at the top of the hill and you can walk down many stairs to get to the beach. You can also arrange a carpool or rideshare. You can also bike via the Burke Gilman trail!

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress code is creative cocktail, but please wear whatever makes you feel good. Color and texture and pattern is highly encouraged - don't hold back!
