We started as acquaintances, saying "hi", "hello" and "goodbye" at church. Then God interfered with a dream given to him, and in that dream was her. He was interested yet skeptical. He prayed and his cell leader advised him to "start a friendship with her".

He initiated messages online and was trying to build courage to ask her out. She waited and waited until she couldn't wait anymore (because she is not a waitress **wink wink**). She then decided to take the matter into her own hands. She invited him to meet in a cafe and confronted his intentions. He answered "I like you. I want to know you better, to be friends and to marry eventually". She got so awkward because other couples in the cafe overheard the conversation. We decided to "get to know each other" while praying for God's guidance. We held ourselves accountable to our family and spiritual leaders.

After months of praying, she received a confirmation from God. We first told our leaders before telling each other and decided to make it official.

Christmas of year 2024, before the year ended, Earl proposed.
