We met online! We decided to go downtown in Lincoln, NE for dinner at Fuzzy's Taco Shop. Although it was one of April's favorites, Andrew wasn't as impressed. We didn't realize until they had kicked us out that we had been talking until close. Just a week or so later, COVID hit and the world shut down but thankfully for us, the rest is history!

On the anniversary of our first date, we had planned to go to dinner in Omaha to celebrate. April came home from a long day of teaching and was about to start getting ready for dinner when Andrew said, "Wait, Dahlia has a message for you". At first, she was confused but then she saw the little pink collar. Since Dahlia didn't usually wear a collar she immediately went to pick her up when she read, "Will you marry my dad?" on the tag. April turned around and Andrew was on one knee! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
