Do you have an event hashtag for social media?

Answer

Nope, but we would love it if you would tag us in anything you post on Instagram (@April825 and @4dam_s) and/or Facebook!

Do I need a babysitter for the night?

Answer

Yes. Due to space limitations we have kept the guest list to friends and non-immediate family aged 21+ (exceptions made for nursing mamas!)

Question

Your reception is on a college campus, does that mean it's smoke-free?

Answer

Yes! Due to state laws, you CANNOT smoke on college campuses in Maine. Please refrain, or we can be fined.

What's the deal with parking?

Answer

For the ceremony, there is plenty of (free!) street parking, and you can also pull into the cemetery (see directions on the travel page) and park right next to and around the chapel — if you do that, please be careful not to park on the grass, as we can be fined for that. At the reception, there will be signs guiding you to the McKernan Center parking lot. You can leave your car there overnight if you need to.

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail Attire! Festive and fancy! The ceremony and reception are indoors, so ladies — heel size is not an issue. There is an outdoor space where cocktail hour, cornhole, and the photo booth will be set up (weather permitting) so you may want to bring a jacket.
