Things To Do

We are excited for you to explore Colorado! ♥︎ We have provided a few of our favorite restaurants, hikes and fun things to do that are two hours or less from Denver. Colorado has so much more to offer such as great national parks, hot springs, skiing, live music, etc so feel free to contact us if you need any other activity recommendations.

Paris Banh Mi Café & Bakery - Broomfield

1255 East 1st Avenue, Broomfield, CO 80020

Paris Banh Mi Cafe & Bakery is a unique Vietnamese sandwich shop. They also offer boba tea, coffee, pastries and desserts. This is only 10 minutes away from the hotel.

Williams & Graham

3160 Tejon Street, Denver, CO 80211

If Myles hasn't told you already, this is our favorite Speakeasy! You will need to make a reservation in advanced.

Barcelona Wine Bar

2900 Larimer Street, Denver, CO 80205

Delicious tapas and paella.

Rupert's at the Edge

2045 Sheridan Boulevard, Edgewater, CO 80214

Amazing brunch and breakfast!

Happy Camper

3211 North Pecos Street, Denver, CO 80211

If you're looking for somewhere lively to eat, this is the spot for you. Happy Camper is very popular spot in Denver so you will definitely need a reservation. This area is full of other great restaurants and bars to wander to afterwards! (Area known as Highland)

ESP HiFi - Denver Listening Bar

1029 Santa Fe Dr, Denver, CO 80204

This is a wine and cocktail bar with an emphasis on a curated vinyl music.

Elk Meadow Park

2855 Bergen Peak Drive, Evergreen, CO 80439

This is a great, easy hike with hardly any elevation gain. Open space, beautiful views and yes there are Elk! (Don't come after me if you don't see any) There are a few trails you can get to in this park - we entered through Sleepy's Trail.

Lookout Mountain Park

987 Lookout Mountain Road, Golden, CO 80401

We took our engagement photos here! Truly a breathtaking spot. You can take a scenic drive up to the peak and see views of the Rocky Mountains and the city of Denver without even hiking! If you want to continue the journey, there are 35 miles of trails to enjoy. There is also the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave to visit here if you find that interesting.

South Table Mountain Park

16741 Golden Hills Road, Golden, CO 80401

Golden, Colorado is a great hiking location that is close to Denver. South Table Mountain has multiple trails to choose from that are easy to hike with incredible views. After your hike, I would suggest grabbing a burrito at Bonfire Burritos!

Meow Wolf Denver | Convergence Station

1338 1st Street, Denver, CO 80204

This is a really cool immersive art experience with interactive rooms. It's a very popular tourist attraction, but it's worth it!

Garden of the Gods

Colorado Springs, CO 80904

St Mary's Glacier Trail

St Mary's Glacier Trail, CO 80452

Saint Mary's Glacier was one of the first hikes we did when we moved to Colorado, with Emily and Mike <3 It's a short hike, but a steep incline up to a gorgeous glacier. Around November, it will be snowy and icy on the trail so be prepared. Afterwards, I would suggest going to the town in Idaho Springs for lunch. It's one of our favorite towns in Colorado.

Monarch Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk

488 Main Street, Black Hawk, CO 80422

If you're feeling lucky, go to Black Hawk Casino ;)
