Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre is one of Colorado’s most iconic landmarks, known for its stunning red rock formations and world-famous outdoor concerts. It also holds a special place in our hearts - it’s where we shared one of our very first dates at Movie on the Rocks.
Devil’s Head Lookout is a popular Front Range hike offering some of the best panoramic views in the area. The trail climbs steadily through forested terrain to a historic fire lookout tower at the summit. The hike is moderate to challenging, about 6.8 miles round trip with roughly 1,600 feet of elevation gain. Expect a steep incline and a final staircase climb to reach the lookout, but the views at the top make it well worth the effort.
Located in downtown Boulder with views of the Flatirons, Pearl Street Mall is a vibrant hub for shopping and dining, and a special place for us, as it’s in the town where Hanna went to college.
Not for the faint of heart! This is a challenging 2,700+ step hike that takes you up 2,000 ft. in elevation in under one mile.

If you have extra time while you’re in Colorado, we highly recommend taking a ride on the Pikes Peak Cog Railway in Colorado Springs. This historic train takes you all the way to the summit of Pikes Peak for incredible mountain views and a fun, uniquely Colorado experience. Reservations are required, so be sure to book in advance!
