Please note there is an entrance fee of $10 per vehicle (as of 2026), so be sure to bring cash or card for admission.

Devil’s Head Lookout is a popular Front Range hike offering some of the best panoramic views in the area. The trail climbs steadily through forested terrain to a historic fire lookout tower at the summit. The hike is moderate to challenging, about 6.8 miles round trip with roughly 1,600 feet of elevation gain. Expect a steep incline and a final staircase climb to reach the lookout, but the views at the top make it well worth the effort.
