Is there going to be a ceremony?

By then, we’ll have already said “I do.” This party is all about the fun stuff! Food, drinks, dancing, and being surrounded by the people we love most. Less vows, more vibes!

Why elope?

Answer

We’re choosing to exchange our vows privately at Max Patch in North Carolina. When we get home, we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you.

What is a happily ever after party?

Answer

Basically a reception. We’ll have a few traditional moments like our first dance, speeches, and parent dances, but most of the night will be about celebrating, having fun, and being together.

It’s Halloween, should I dress up?

Answer

Leave the costumes at home and join us in cocktail attire for a night of celebration!

Will there be food?

Answer

Of course, we’re keeping it casual with a buffet-style meal.

What should I expect weather wise? Is the party inside or outside?

Answer

Think fall weather, days in the mid to upper 60s and cooler at night! Our celebration will be indoors, so dress accordingly and bring a layer, especially if you plan to take photos on the beach.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We wish we could celebrate with everyone, but due to space, we’re only able to host those named on your invitation. If your invite says “and Guest,” you’re welcome to bring one.

Unfortunately, we don’t have a room block, but there are plenty of great options in the area. We’ll be staying in an Airbnb, but we’ve included a few reliable options in the travel section for your convenience.
