Travel
Some pointers for travel:
1) Renting a car will be easiest - we recommend coordinating with others. We can help facilitate if you'd like to carpool!
2) Use a credit card with rental car coverage. If you don't have one, we recommend opting in for the insurance coverage. Italian car rentals are notorious for finding "damages" after the fact.
3) Highway tolls: You will need to grab a ticket ("biglietto") when you enter the highway and pay when you exit. Avoid the Telepass lane as you won't be able to use it. Quick guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wbxh7iik1Ws
4) Avoid speeding - they've got cameras and will send tickets to you overseas!

Rome Airport (FCO): 240 km | ~2 hours 45 minutes
Florence Airport (FLR): 95 km | ~1 hour 30 minutes
Pisa Airport (PSA): 130 km | ~1 hour 45 minutes
Rome will be the closest for direct international flights from North America

No need to worry about booking hotels/airbnbs - we know everyone is travelling great distances to be at our wedding, and we want to thank you by covering everyone's stay at the property. We may have an overflow property but will reach out to folks directly for those that may need to stay at the nearby property (~10 minute drive away)! To reach Casa Cornacchi, we recommend using Google Maps or Waze and setting "Casa Cornacchi" as your final destination. Please ensure your navigation system is directed to use the SP540 road, as this is the only proper access to the estate.
