The Hub
A cafe, bar, and bike repair shop in one! Just a 5 minute drive from Jimbo's, this is your best bet for quick snacks and drinks during the wedding weekend. There's also a hike with great views of the wedding venue that starts right behind The Hub (look up the Jack & Jill trail on AllTrails - the trail is short but steep).
Paradox Brewery
One of our all-time favorite breweries with great beer, delicious food, and beautiful views of the Adirondack high peaks. About a 30 minute drive from Jimbo's - but trust us it's worth it!
Cafe Adirondack Restaurant & Wine Room
We haven't actually been here yet but it comes highly recommended for dinner and has a great vegan section of the menu!
Sticks & Stones Wood Fired Bistro & Bar
A classic Adirondack vibe with good pizzas and salads.
Saratoga Springs
Saratoga Springs is an adorable town located right off the Northway (on your way to Jimbo's from the Albany Airport). Stop by for a quick drink or bite to eat. We love Hattie's, Druther's Brewing, and the Saratoga Winery.
Adirondack High Peaks
If you have time for a longer/more strenuous hike while you're in the area, we'd recommend checking out the Adirondack High Peaks (about one hour from Jimbo's). Some of our favorite hikes are Porter Mountain, Cascade Mountain, Wright Peak, Mount Jo, and the Indian Head Trail (note: you need to obtain a permit in advance to hike the Indian Head Trail).
