Are children welcome?
Answer
Absolutely! Your entire family is welcome all weekend - just make sure to note that you're bringing children in your RSVP.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes! There is plenty of parking available onsite for the duration of the weekend.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
The weather in the Adirondacks can be unpredictable, but it will probably be chilly in late October. Historical highs are in the 50s and lows are in the 30s. Most of the weekend will take place indoors, but we're hoping for an outdoor ceremony and a semi-outdoor cocktail hour. You're more than welcome to wear a sweater or jacket at any event.

I'm staying at Jimbo's! What do I need to know?

Wahoo - we're so glad you'll be at Jimbo's for the weekend! All on-site room reservations have been finalized, so please reach out if you're not 100% sure whether you have a room booked. You should be all set if you already talked to Amy or Owen - there is no need to contact Jimbo's directly to book anything. You will pay for your room when you check in. Jimbo's provides linens and towels, but you should bring your own toiletries and hair dryer. And there aren't refrigerators in the rooms, so please bring a cooler if you want to keep anything cold. You are welcome to bring your own alcoholic drinks and food for your rooms if you want. Please ask us if you have any other questions, we're happy to help!

What time is check-in and check-out at Jimbo's?
Answer
Check-in at Jimbo's on Friday starts at 2:00pm. If you think you'll get there earlier than that let us know and they can probably accommodate you. Check-out on Sunday is at 12:00pm.

What COVID precautions will be in place?
Answer
We kindly request that all guests be fully vaccinated and take a rapid test before attending the wedding. We'll have masks available at check-in for anyone who wants to wear one (you are absolutely welcome to wear one at any point during the weekend - we want you to feel comfortable and safe). We'll also have a limited number of rapid tests available in case anyone starts feeling sick. Please reach out to us if you have any concerns regarding COVID precautions.

Is there WiFi at Jimbo's?
Answer
Yes! There is WiFi in most of the common spaces at Jimbo's. There should also be WiFi in the hotel-style rooms, but there is no WiFi in the cabins.

Is Jimbo's pet friendly?
Answer
Sadly, Jimbo's isn't pet friendly. Jasper (our dog) will be at Jimbo's for the weekend, but he was the only exception the venue was willing to make. The Hampton Inn and Suites in Lake George is pet friendly and will have a shuttle to and from the wedding on Saturday. There are many pet friendly Airbnbs in the area too. Let us know if we can help you find somewhere to stay!
