Question

Is there a dress code and/or color code for the wedding?

Answer

Yes, there is a dress code! We kindly request that our guests adhere to cocktail attire. For our wedding, cocktail attire means dressing up without being too formal. Women can wear a nice dress (any length works) or a chic jumpsuit with heels, while men should wear a suit or a blazer with dress pants and dress shoes. Please NO jeans or casual pants. Think stylish and classy, perfect for a fun and celebratory evening! For the color code, we ask that guests refrain from brightly-hued or neon colors (like reds, blues, greens, yellows, etc) and/or busy/loud patterns. Neutrals (NO white), pastels, or more subdued colored items would work best with the wedding theme/aesthetic! We appreciate you for respecting our requests and can't wait to celebrate with you!

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in my RSVP?

Answer

We invite you to RSVP online here on our wedding website by going to the 'Registry' tab. Just simply type in your first and last name to RSVP for you and the rest of your party.

Answer

We kindly request you submit your RSVP by October 1st.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, we do! You can access our registry through this website by clicking on the 'Registry' tab. Our Zola registry is unique because it allows us to add gifts directly from Zola as well as link items from external registries. Currently, we have been able to link items from Target, Crate & Barrel, and Anthropologie to our Zola registry, however, we were unable to link our registry with Williams Sonoma/Pottery Barn. If you'd prefer, you can find and purchase items from these external registries by searching for the bride's name, Anyssa Dominguez, on the registry pages of those websites.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

If you choose a gift from our online registries, they are set up to send your thoughtful presents directly to us. If you prefer to shop in person, you're welcome to bring the gift to the wedding. We will have a special spot at the venue for gifts and cards.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will begin at 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 26th. We kindly ask our guests to arrive at least 30 minutes early and no later than 15 minutes before the ceremony starts to ensure ample time for parking and seating. **Note: The venue can be a little tricky to find depending on which navigation app you use. We recommend using Google Maps and searching for 'Westwood Barns'. Please plan for a bit of extra time to ensure you arrive without any trouble.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation and included on our online RSVP list. We hope you understand our decision.

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but for our wedding, we're keeping it a mostly adults-only celebration! If your kids are invited, you’ll find their names on the invitation and online RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are the ceremony and reception at different locations?

Answer

No, both the ceremony and reception are being held at the same venue, Westwood Barns.

Question

What is the wedding venue address? Any special instructions on how to get there?

Answer

The address is 5200 Ave 252, Tulare, CA 93274, however, Apple Maps will direct you wrong! We highly recommend using Google Maps and typing in 'Westwood Barns' — this will take you on the correct route to the venue and straight into the parking area! You will know you are entering the venue when you turn down Road 52 from Avenue 252. **Note: You should not be entering into a driveway!

Is there parking available at or near your wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, parking is located at the venue and free of cost! There will be parking attendants to direct guests upon arrival.

Can I leave my car overnight if I have too much fun?

Answer

Yes! Westwood Barns will allow you to leave your vehicle in their parking lot overnight, however, it MUST be picked up the following day. The venue owners kindly ask that you only enter and exit through the venue entrance when picking up your vehicle.

Will Uber go all the way out into the country?

Answer

Yes! Uber will come to pick guests up from Westwood Barns if needed!

Have you reserved room blocks at hotels in the area?

Answer

We have not reserved room blocks at hotels in the area, however, we do have a few hotel recommendations that have great reviews and great prices: 1. Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding venue is completely outdoors. However, access to food and the bar will be inside the barn.

What is the weather like in the area around the end of October?

Answer

Typically the weather around this time of year starts to cool off in Tulare. Expect a high in the mid to low 70s, with a low in the 50s.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We will be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a dual-protein entree. If you have any food allergies, please contact the bride at (559) 972-4331.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, we're excited to host a cocktail hour between the ceremony and reception! We'll have tasty hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and yard games for you to enjoy as you mix and mingle before the reception starts.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar! In line with the venue's policy, hard liquor will be served during cocktail hour and dinner, up until the last plate is served. After dinner, we will have beer, wine, and seltzers available for the rest of the evening.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged, but we encourage you to capture all the fun and memories during the cocktail hour and reception. A photo booth will also be available during the reception!
