Maid of Honor
Dakota and I met in the Navy and funnily enough I didn’t like her much but being trapped on a large metal box kind of forces you to be in close quarters with people and thank goodness we were otherwise I would have missed out on one of the best friendships of my life. Dakota loves hard and will always show up for the those she loves, she is supportive, kind, CLEAN, hilarious and wise beyond her years! She has been my sounding board more than once. She is well versed in brutal honesty but can deliver it in the kindest way. Over our years of friendship we have traveled to many places and made many memories and whether it’s over a beer or coffee we contemplate the universe have fun and open conversations about conspiracy theories, religion, politics, zombie apocalypse’s and hypothetical situations, conversations that most people shy away from due to their intense nature but not with Dakota she brings open mindedness and is free from judgment a quality that is often lost. Dakota is the kind of friend everyone hopes for in their life time and I am beyond blessed to call her my friend! 💚

Amber was introduced to me through Marqueese and his close friend Kishawn, two people who made our time in San Diego feel like home. Ever since we moved back to Colorado she sends me the sweetest good morning texts wishing a happy week and sends love my way which honestly is the best way to start you day! She is sweetness personified, her deep love for everything on this earth leaves me awe-struck, she is a friend to all things animals, plants, humans both familiar and foreign. If a sunflower, the rain and the sweetest candy you can think of had a baby it would be Amber! She has shown me how beautiful it is to be a woman and models all the best qualities of one. I admire her tender heart as it takes courage to continue to be gentle in such a harsh world. Some of our best times in San Diego happened with Amber and her husband Kishawn, fires on the beach, snuggled up with a blanket basking in the warmth of the fire surrounded by laughter and love. She is my soul sister, I adore her and am so lucky to have her in our lives! 🫶🏻

Mollie is my OG bridesmaid! As my cousin and oldest friend we have dreamed about our weddings since we were very young and one key element in each is that we would be each others bridesmaids, it brings me so much joy to see that dream come to life. Mollie has lived a state away from me since we both were very young but that never broke our bond, we called each other EVERY DAY and talked for a minimum of 3 hours until one of our moms needed the phone. On the occasion we would go visit the whole time Mollie and I were inseparable, partaking in our favorite activities like annoying our older siblings, playing in club penguin or playing outside in the humid Kansas summers. As a child Mollie was sweet, funny, imaginative and the best person to vent to about our adolescent woes and as an adult she still reflects those qualities but has added a mature flare to them, she is a talented photographer and has an eye for decoration and style, with one thing always staying the same and that is being coldplays biggest fan. I have loved watching her grow into the beautiful young woman she has become and I couldn’t imagine anyone else standing by my side on that joyous day! 💖

Tesha and I met at JAX, neither of us knew that we were basically meeting ourselves in a different form, even though she already has a twin sister she is my twin in every aspect other than physical. Tesha is a kind hearted, witty, thoughtful animal loving woman and she one of the best laughs I’ve ever heard! Don’t let her shyness fool you, she’ll whoop your ass at monopoly! Even though we’ve only known each other for 2 years she has grown to be one of my closest friends very quickly. She made going to work one of the best parts of my day because I knew we would laugh and make boring tasks enjoyable, we used those times to get to know each other and upon every new discovery we would be baffled by the similarities. Even though she has moved states away she continues to be a cherished part of my life! 💛
