Travel

Sappada is about a 2 hr drive from Venice (Marco Polo Airport). Car rentals are at Marco Polo & the airport is easy to navigate. Book your car rental ahead of time :)
If you are considering staying in Venice prior to arrival, we recommend Ca' Pozzo Inn (hotel list).
There is also a train from Venice (Santa Lucia Station) to Calalzo di Cadore (can possibly arrange pick ups from here)
and then Dolomiti Bus from Calalzo to Sappada. This is about a 4hr journey which has been taken by friends before. Brings euros for this option. Please let us know if you have questions about transportation.
Sappada is a bit spread out, but everything is technically walkable. If you do not plan to have a car, we recommend trying to book on the West Side of town using "Piller Sport" as a central landmark. We should have some help with shuttling people as needed.
Booking.com has the hotels listed under Sappada too.
We cannot wait to celebrate with our family and friends in Sappada!
