Question

What is a Sangeet?

Answer

A Sangeet is a pre-wedding Indian ceremony that celebrates the couple with singing and dancing. In the spirit of our fusion wedding, we will be holding ours after the ceremony, but before the reception. If you are interested, we would love for you to participate! You can sing, choreograph your own dance, or join a group with preset music and choreography. This can be short (think 1 -2 minutes) or longer if you desire! Please reach out to Anya if you'd like to participate.

Question

Can I wear South Asian clothes and/or jewelry?

Answer

Yes! We invite you to wear American, South Asian or Indo-Western (fusion) wear for any of the events. For more information, please see here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1d1dbSr8A0MKoTK-pw7R-nXrPIumS05_1xChDsn5diH8/edit?usp=drive_link

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your children, our wedding celebrations are adults only!

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

We recommend using Uber or walking to travel around CDMX. As with any large city, be sure to account for traffic in your planning.

Question

What documents do I need to enter Mexico?

Answer

You will need an up-to-date Passport or Passport Card (USA) to enter Mexico. Please ensure your passport's expiration date is not within 6 months of your travel dates. If you are an American citizen, there are no visa requirements to enter Mexico.
