12:00 pm
Let’s get the wedding extravaganza started with a carnival-themed afternoon of henna, music & fun! During the Mehendi, female guests can get mehendi (henna tattoos) if they like. There will be food, drinks & some typical Rajasthani entertainment. Dress Code: Colourful outfits! Shoes: Please avoid any sharp heels as the hotel is surrounded by lawns. IMPORTANT: Please come to the venue dressed up in your Mehendi outfit as checking in can take some time due to the large number of guests.
7:00 pm
A night of bollywood music, dancing, cocktails & dinner! There will be food, drinks, bollywood dance performances, and a DJ party to close the night. Dress Code: Glitz & glamour! For western guests who want to wear an Indian outfit, this is the event to do so. Shoes: Please avoid sharp heels as this event will take place on a lawn.
11:30 am
Let's begin this auspicious day with the haldi ceremony. A turmeric paste is applied on the hands, feet and faces of the bride & groom as a symbol of blessings - and it gives us a special glow for our special day! Dress code: Shades of yellow! This is the least formal ceremony of the wedding. Shoes: Please avoid any sharp heels as the hotel is surrounded by lawns.
4:00 pm
The wedding kicks off with the Baraat, the all-singing all-dancing wedding procession of the groom and his family towards the bride and her family. During the ceremony itself (Pheras), the bride and groom make their vows according to Indian wedding tradition. Dress code: Formal. Men can wear suits and women can wear dresses. Please avoid any sharp heels as the event will take place on a lawn.
8:00 pm
Dinner & drinks with the newly wed couple! You can be in the same outfit as the baraat & wedding ceremony.
9:00 am
We end our celebration in the morning. You can enjoy breakfast, check out and continue on with your holiday in India!
