Your dancing shoes, of course! Even though the wedding is in a backyard, it is by no means a casual affair. We expect it to be warm(ish), so colorful summer dresses and light suits are great. Any Indian attire is, of course, welcome!
The baraat is a procession for the groom where the groom's friends and family accompany him to the bride's home (wedding venue in modern day). There is lots of music, dancing, and general chaos.
Please check under "Accommodations and Travel" for shuttle information to and from the wedding. Uber and Lyft are also available in the area.
We are serving an incredible Indian feast (live dosa station, anyone?) that can be enjoyed by vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike! For guests who prefer food on the milder side, we will be offering a couple of non-Indian dishes.
