Do guests need an access card?

Answer

Yes, your access card is required for entry to ALL EVENTS. Each color on the back of your access card corresponds with a different wedding event. When you arrive to the venue, the color for that event will be marked off, so please ensure you keep up with your access card! Children 14 and under do not need an access card.

What hotel is reccomended for lodging during the wedding?

Answer

We recommend staying at Transcorp Hilton Abuja. Although we do not have a block booking, guests should book their stay at their earliest convenience. Check out the "Accommodation" tab for more information.

How do I get around Abuja?

Answer

If you would like to explore Abuja during your stay, we recommend hiring a driver. Please reach out to the couple if you are interested in reserving a car.

When should I apply for my Nigerian visa?

Answer

Please plan to apply for your Nigerian visa as soon as possible. We recommend beginning the process in October to account for any possible delays. Anu will provide you with a document on how to apply. If you have any questions, please reach out to her.

What should I wear to the Traditional Wedding?

We ask that all guests wear white native attire. Headties and caps are available for purchase.

Answer

We have navy blue asoebi, headties, and caps available for purchase. If you do not plan on buying asoebi, please visit the "Attire" tab to see the colors of the day.

If I am coming from abroad, how can I get phone service in Nigeria?

Answer

We recommend purchasing an e-sim. Some e-sim providers to consider include Holafly, Bytesim, or Airalo. Please note that some e-sims include data but not an actual local number, so ensure you have WhatsApp downloaded as well.
