Airports

The DC metropolitan area has three airports. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is 5 miles away, Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) is 28 miles away, and Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) is 35 miles away. Domestic flights land at all three airports, and DCA is by far the most convenient. The hotels on the list can be easily reached by Metro, or a short taxi ride. International flights will land at IAD or BWI. Mass transit options from IAD are poor (the Metro extension to IAD is currently under construction), and it will best to take a taxi or Uber. From BWI one can take the intercity passenger service (Amtrak) or commuter trains to Washington's Union Station, but it will be quicker to take a taxi or Uber.

The church, museum, and the suggested hotels are close to the Metro (Metro Center station - 13th and G St exit is the closest to the church). Metro is open until 1 am on Saturday night. https://wmata.com/ Amtrak trains to Washington DC arrive at Union Station, which is three metro stops from Metro Center. https://www.amtrak.com/home There is a 24/7 parking garage adjacent to the Church, which is convenient for the event.
