Tamara and Antwon’s story began in 2022 with a simple match on Hinge, but from the very beginning, it felt like something much deeper. What started as conversations online quickly turned into an undeniable connection. Between their shared love of music, games and competitive Uno matches, laughter over classic Black 90s television shows, and endless meaningful conversations, they instantly clicked. Even early on, they both sensed that their connection was special. But life had its own timing. During those first years, Antwon was devoted to caring for his mother full-time, while Tamara was navigating seasons of growth and change in her own life. Although the timing was not yet right for a relationship, their bond continued to grow stronger through friendship, encouragement, and faith. They became a safe place for one another during difficult moments, praying for each other, sending thoughtful messages, and reminding each other to keep going no matter what life brought their way. After the passing of Antwon’s mother, he faced the challenge of rebuilding and finding balance again. Distance and timing continued to create delays, but even through it all, they never truly left each other’s hearts. As time passed, they both realized just how deeply they loved one another. When they finally reconnected, it felt like God softly whispering to them both: Now you're ready. Around that same time, one of Tamara’s friends shared a dream that felt just as meaningful—a dream that assured her the wait would soon be over. What once seemed distant was suddenly unfolding right before their eyes, and they recognized God's hand guiding them toward the life they had quietly hoped for all along. From the moment they officially began dating, they knew marriage was always the goal. Their relationship has been rooted in faith, friendship, patience, and love, the kind of love that grows stronger through every season. Today, Tamara and Antwon are overjoyed and grateful for the life God is building with them. They look forward to continuing a future filled with love, joy, peace, and unwavering partnership. As they begin this new chapter together, they are especially honored to celebrate their union while remembering the grandparents who mean so much to them. Their ceremony will take place on July 8th, Tamara’s grandfather’s birthday, and their reception will be held on November 7th, Antwon’s grandmother’s birthday. Every day, they thank God for a love like this, a love built on faith, timing, and the beautiful journey that brought them together.
