I slid in Rod's DM and sent him a wave on Facebook Messenger on March 8, 2018. He had the nerve to not respond until a month and a half later LOL. We immediately started texting and talking everyday, then we went on our first date April 28, 2018.  After months of dating we decided to make it official on August 3, 2018. 3 years later on May 22, 2021 Rod took me on a date to celebrate becoming a nurse then while at dinner he surprised me by asking me WOULD I MARRY HIM?!! So now we are here, sharing our love story, and planning this amazing day to become one. October 21, 2022 is the day #HookedOnHickman
